The Spirit of Adventure Trust (Trust) is one of the long standing family members of our community partnership pool.
The Trust provides access to life-changing experiences through sea voyages, helping to unlock the potential in young people. We have worked proactively alongside the Trust to support their approach to program delivery.
In 2023 this included giving back to some of the most weather impacted regions across New Zealand by redirecting $10,500 to help get some young people from the Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and Coromandel onto a 10-day voyage.
After 50 years the Trust continues to enable personal growth, confidence and development, to build better futures for young New Zealanders.
I made countless memories that I will never forget, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
